First Gen college student to sorority Pro

Coming into college as a first-generation student, I knew little about the college experience, let alone sororities and recruitment. Full of lingo that is confusing, a completely foreign culture, and a distorted image due to tv. movies, and social media. I went on to work at a sorority headquarters, learning the full recruitment process on both sides and seeing the differences in what is being said and what is actually happening.
